| I hate Kansas. Let me explain. I have long hair and a beard and I drive a van with California plates. Apparently this is like catnip to Kansas State troupers. You see, I made the horrible mistake of having a burnt out tail light. This trouper pulled me over on I-70 and told me about it and gave me a warning ticket. As he was leaving he said, "mind if I look around inside the van"? I have a medical marijuana script and though I was out of pot, I had a pipe. So I said no. Ended up, I had 4 troupers and a drug dog searching the van. I left with a warning ticket and they made me throw the pipe in the ditch while they looked on. Ironically, this happened right in front of a no littering sign. I asked about that but was asked if I would rather be arrested. So I littered. I guess the troupers went away disappointed. They thought they hit the jackpot and all they found was an old hippie traveling to see his mother. I'm sure there are some good folks in KS, but I"m not going back again! |
